MISSION
The mission of Americare School of Allied Health is to provide each student the opportunity for success by offering instruction and teaching the skills required to gain employment in the health care field as a Nursing Assistant , Medical Assistant or Massage Therapist. We provide specialized training for the Nursing Assistant students that include all state and federal requirements necessary to prepare students to pass the State Competency Evaluations and to gain employment as a Nursing Assistant. The Medical Assistant program teaches all aspects of front and back office procedures required to gain employment in a doctor’s office or medical clinic as a Medical Assistant. Upon successful completion of the Nursing Assistant and Medical Assistant Program, graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Entrance Requirements
Nursing Assistant Program
Applicants must be at least 17 years old and show proof of attending either a high school diploma or GED
Certificate. Applicants without a high school diploma or GED must pass an Ability to Benefit exam to be
eligible to enroll. Students must provide to the school a recent Negative TB Test prior to starting the clinical portion of their training.
Medical Assistant Program
Applicants must be 18 years old and show a proof of attaining either a high school diploma or GED
Certificate. Students must provide to the school a recent Negative TB Test prior to starting the externship portion of their training.
Massage Therapy Program
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and show proof of attaining either a high school diploma or GED Certificate. Students must provide to the school a recent Negative TB Test prior to starting the program.

Enrollment Procedure
Students must enroll in person at the school. Hours for enrollment are Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 6:00pm, Fridays 9:00am - 3:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm. A school representative will meet with each applicant to discuss the program and determine if the applicant meets admissions criteria. A registration fee of $100.00 is required at the time of enrollment. Americare does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religious beliefs or ethnicity. Americare’s offices, classrooms and restroom facilities are handicapped accessible. Please call to make arrangements necessary to accommodate any special needs.
Credit for Previous Training
No credit for previous training is granted, except for a student returning form am approved Leave of Absence.
Student Conduct
Students are expected to deport themselves in a proper manner and dress in appropriate attire at all
times. Improper behavior or conduct includes cheating, fighting or use of unacceptable language and
use or possession of drugs of alcohol. Failure to follow rules of conduct may be caused for termination from the program.
